I am passionate about home based care being parents first choice in childcare because of the low ratios 1:4 the flexibility with routine of the child. The ability to extend on each child's interest I provide a warm, safe, nurturing environment that runs supported program based on the Te Whariki Early Childhood Curriculum. Each child has their learning journal and is visited once a month by a registered teacher. The children have regular outings to play group, nature playgroup, Selwyn Village baby buddies and story time at the library. Weather dependent and who is enrolled on those days, which supports the Children's sense of belonging to the wider community. I have a small fully fenced home in a very quiet street. Everything is within walking distance i.e. play group and parks. I am passionate about home based care as an alternative to center based care having the same quality care in my home. The children have regular outings to baby buddies at the local retirement village, play group and story time at the library.
At the moment I have one space for an under 2, and I have 2 spaces for over 2. I work Tuesday - Friday 8-5..
