I am a kind, reliable, experienced recent graduate looking to care for/nanny children of any age. I always encourage engagement in activities such as sport, arts and crafts, outdoor play and trips to the park/beach. I currently work in an after school nanny position (2pm - 5.30 pm) with two wonderful girls aged 2 & 5 on week days and casually babysit for various local families on weekends. I am looking for additional holiday, weekend and morning hours (before 2pm). I am more than happy to do housework, feed/walk pets, help with homework and any attend sport/music practices. I enjoy forming a relationship with families and have always had mutual feelings of trust, respect and dependability in previous jobs.
I'm 24 years old, reliable, organised and fun! I love art, photography and music. I have been playing piano for 15 years and dancing for 14 years. Previously I have nannied for a local family with one girl (4 years) and one boy (11years) - doing school pick ups/drop offs, after school activities, cooking, homework help, house sitting for the family and live in's when required. I also babysit for local families. I am looking for Part time work, available weekends and evenings. I work full time Monday - Friday and am available post 6.30 PM weeknights and any time during weekends.
I am passionate about home based care being parents first choice in childcare because of the low ratios 1:4 the flexibility with routine of the child. The ability to extend on each child's interest I provide a warm, safe, nurturing environment that runs supported program based on the Te Whariki Early Childhood Curriculum. Each child has their learning journal and is visited once a month by a registered teacher. The children have regular outings to play group, nature playgroup, Selwyn Village baby buddies and story time at the library. Weather dependent and who is enrolled on those days, which supports the Children's sense of belonging to the wider community. Feel free to look at my Facebook page Kim's Childcare or ring for a play date/interview
