"Not being from Auckland or knowing anyone in the city made it extremely difficult to find work. I didn’t have a place to ‘advertise’ as such, so it meant I would have to trawl through sites that only listed jobs and compete with other applicants or find that potential employers had not specified clearly enough their requirements. "Before using Carefinder getting babysitting work was pretty difficult. Alternative sites (including a popular student one) only had occasional listings, none to the level of Carefinder.

"The Carefinder website is the best website that I have come across because it is easy to use and navigate. Having found that I am too sick to take a regular job, I decided to try pet sitting in the hopes that I would get some work that wasn’t going to wear me out too much.
