I'm a 17 year old student currently part-taking in NCEA level 3 and i have 2 years experience with children. Caring for children seems to have developed as a passion for me and i wish to pursue a related field in tertiary education :-). I have experience with children aged 1-12 and can work well under pressure. I currently hold a first aid certificate and a police check. Being an avid sports player and musician as well as a scholar I find it easy to relate to a variety of children and keep them entertained too! I work for a small wage so it is affordable. I also respect all parents wishes during the care of their children as I understand the immense trust involved in allowing someone to take care of them! I currently work as a leader in Selywn House school holiday program (Only during schoo holidays. This caters to children from ages 5-11. It provides looking after children during the day in various public scenarios / events. With monetary I have had 2 years experience babysitting. This includes family members and outsiders. During this time I have taken care of infants (7 & 4 months old) Toddlers and Children on multiple occasions without any hassle. One particular case required the care of a child with Aspergers & i understand the condition / it's limits. Both jobs contained monetary reimbursement for the care.
