Next to basic care and fulfilling your child’s needs, I can conduct individual and group activities to encourage learning and develop social interactions skills. But I also believe that caring for children is not a job you can just be taught through education. A big part of caring for children comes from the heart. Giving children the love and acknowledgement they deserve. My education only gave me tools to support children in their development and to further understand their development. I believe this can be very beneficial in childcare, but I also think it’s very important that a child gets to just be a child.

I have over with 5 years experience in child day care centers, managing groups of various ages and assessing children’s behavior, needs and health to determine appropriate caring style. An accumulated 1 ½ experience in volunteer work with children in less developed regions of the world (Ghana, Peru, Thailand). I’ve given art courses/workshops on elementary schools in the Netherlands for 2 years. While I was studying art therapy I did my internships on schools for special education.
