I am a sociable and friendly person who has always had a passion for children. I enjoy playing and caring for children of all ages. I graduated with a Bachelor of Education Degree from Massey University in 2017 and a Post graduate Diploma of teaching (Early Childhood Education) from University of Otago in 2018. I have a level 1 Workplace FIrst Aid training certificate. In 2012 I had the opportunity to coach a netball team of Year 9 girls. This was an awesome experience as i learnt so much and gained many important skills I will use for the rest of my life. It was an amazing feeling being able to mentor and guide these young girls to help them reach their full potential. I learnt a lot about the importance of team work, time management, being organised and always having a game plan. I have babysat for a number of families, with children ranging from 1.5 years- 11 years old. I have a lot of experience with caring for young children, as I babysat a young boy and twins on a regular basis. My duties included: changing nappies, feeding them, putting them down for naps, bathing them, changing them, playing and cleaning up any messes. I love meeting new people, I am confident and very reliable. I will always be flexible with hours and am happy to do extra chores around the house.

Hi, I am a Birth Photographer as well as a part time student taking courses online to begin my career as a midwife so am very flexible when it comes to days/hours. I am reliable and enjoy time with children as well as babies. I love to sing, dance, travel and experience new cultural experiences but my passion is working with mothers, babies and young children. I also speak te reo Maaori(:
I am passionate about home based care being parents first choice in childcare because of the low ratios 1:4 the flexibility with routine of the child. The ability to extend on each child's interest I provide a warm, safe, nurturing environment that runs supported program based on the Te Whariki Early Childhood Curriculum. Each child has their learning journal and is visited once a month by a registered teacher. The children have regular outings to play group, nature playgroup, Selwyn Village baby buddies and story time at the library. Weather dependent and who is enrolled on those days, which supports the Children's sense of belonging to the wider community. Feel free to look at my Facebook page Kim's Childcare or ring for a play date/interview

I am a kind, reliable, experienced recent graduate looking to care for/nanny children of any age. I currently work in an after school nanny position (2pm - 5.30 pm) with two wonderful girls aged 2 & 5 on week days and casually babysit for various local families on weekends. I am looking for additional holiday, weekend and morning hours (before 2pm). I am more than happy to do housework, feed/walk pets, help with homework and any attend sport/music practices. I enjoy forming a relationship with families and have always had mutual feelings of trust, respect and dependability in previous jobs.
My name is Kirsty, I'm 22 years old. I did early childhood education at high school and completed level 5 certificates in Nanny Education where I have done 13 weeks of practical placement; 1 in an early childhood centre, 2 live out nanny placements and 1 live in nanny placement. My Philosophy I believe that each child should be recognized and respected as an individual regardless of culture, ethnicity, age, religion or ability and children should be able to develop and explore in a safe environment that helps encourage their holistic development. Also children should be allowed to be children and that we as adults are there to provide a safe and nurturing environment where the child can have maximum opportunities to develop holistically. I also believe that it is important to model the behaviour that I want to teach.
