Next to basic care and fulfilling your child’s needs, I can conduct individual and group activities to encourage learning and develop social interactions skills. But I also believe that caring for children is not a job you can just be taught through education. A big part of caring for children comes from the heart. Giving children the love and acknowledgement they deserve. My education only gave me tools to support children in their development and to further understand their development. I believe this can be very beneficial in childcare, but I also think it’s very important that a child gets to just be a child.
Greetings! I have just arrived in the beautiful country of New Zealand after spending one amazing year in Australia traveling and working as a nanny for three beautiful families! I have a very strong background in dance, attended Texas Woman's University where I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance Education. Through my teaching in the public school system, I had the opportunity to work with several students of various ages and backgrounds (2-18 years old). Ultimately teaching is not only my profession, but also a strong passion. I've been extremely lucky to have had the opportunity to work and travel another country alongside some wonderful children.
